Roland Garros just ended
Roger Federer finally won Roland Garros. I really do not regret watching it, even though I suppose I should be studying for my exams (3rd year LLB), but this very touching victory had me thinking...
People feel elated when they overcome difficulties, and because they know this joy is waiting for them, they can endure the difficulties again and again.
Take the Alps that border Switzerland and Italy, they cannot be understood by just watching its picturesque scenery from afar, it's only when you go and face its isolation, withstand its ordeals, overcome its difficulties, that you will be able to savor the ultimate happiness, joy, a sense of achievement... and the determination to challenge the next mountain.
Of course, this can apply to every field. That being said, I think it's time for me to go back to company law...
